Biked 60 miles round trip between falls church and Leesburg on a cool (lower 50f) day to train for my cross US cycling trip.
When reaching Leesburg town center, I caught the end of a running race and a biking race for life. Got a leftover banana, a half piece of chocolate cookie and a small piece cinnamon bread.
After 55 miles, I ran into the Taste of Vienna (fund raising for firefighters), Paid $6 for taste shrimps and flies and then guacamole with 4 kinds of Latin chips. Great tastes and deals but too full to ride the last 6 m home. What a fun day!
