hiked up 3000 ft in 2 hours

I hiked in the Shenandoah National Park with 5 friends today for 12.5 miles with 3000 feet elevation gain, the fastest ever for me to hiked up the Cedar Run and the Hawksbill in 2 hours (only 2 brief water stops to recover from a lot of sweat). An unusual cool day in June to do this hike and saw lot of waterfalls and flowers on the way. BTW, I ran into my old neighbor and hiker friend Govinda Ghanti at the beginning of the hike at the White Oak canyon parking lot.
