I attended a home mortgage company open house, and then ushered a play "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" at First Stage Tysons. Ma Rainey, the legendary blues singer, was waited by her band and the record company to record old favorites. This play portrayed black rage of racism, and of racial exploitation. — checked in to 1st Stage.

A gorgeous hiking day with a lot of booming mountain laurel, and a butterfly rested on my leg. I was so tired that I took 5 min nap at Mary's Rock. — checked in to Shenandoah National Park.
