Took a beautiful and vigorous 13 mile hike with
over 3,000 feet elevation gain in the Central SNP. We visited two
waterfalls (Rose River Falls and Dark Hollow Falls) and climbed to two
great views (Franklin Cliffs and Hawksbill Summit). This was the first time that I hiked
the gorgeous Rose river trail in 70f nice sunny, and cool. Funny that I hiked
here over 15 yrs yet 1st time on the Rose river loop — checked in to Hawksbill Peak - Shenandoah National Park.
