Watched
a warm holiday play tonight "holiday memories" at Theater on the Run in
Arlington. In the Depression-era Alabama, a boy Abandoned by his
parents at age 7 was taken in by a kindly elderly cousin, who called him
Buddy and became his best friend in all the world. The play writer
tenderly looked back at a time when friendship seemed forever and all of
life was ahead. It led me to reflect on my own fleeting youth and
memories of holidays. — checked in to Theater on the Run.
