14-mile Bear Church Rock hike

 

I hiked Bear Church Rock for 14 miles with 3200 feet elevation gain with a meetup group today. The trail was over-grown in many sections so I got a few scratches on my legs. We went to a winery afterwards to celebrate the hike leader’s birthday, and asked the band in the winery to sing happy birthday song for her.

It was lucky that the rain was down-pouring when we headed back to town. However, it was too rainy to run on Saturday after the hike, so I ran 6 miles on Sunday morning to complete my 20 hike/run mile weekend goal.
