I went hiking with two friends to Cool Springs Battlefield / Perimeter hike near Bluemont for 12 miles with 1800 feet elevation gain. I realized today that part of the trail is in West Virginia.
After a guick shower, we regrouped to attend a surprise birthday potluck party at a hiker’s river house. What a sunny yet cool day paired with great company and food!
Plus my 9.8 mile weekday runs, I logged in 21.8 hike/run miles this week.
