Revisited
the museum after my 1st visit in 2006. It has more content in each gallery dedicated to different wars, and expended
its outdoor garden and trail with a lot of monuments— checked in to National Museum of the Marine Corps.
The National Museum of the
Marine Corps is very annominated and you can check out the Virtual tour to watch videos, 3D models of artifacts and
experience many other innovative features.
Attended
Washington Folk Festival at the Glen Echo Park which features hundreds
of musicians, storytellers, dancers, and craft vendors — checked in to Glen Echo, Maryland.
The
park is a cultural resource in the Washington, D.C. area. It offers hundreds of
classes and workshops in the visual and performing arts and is home to thirteen
resident artists and arts organizations. The park is well known for its antique
Dentzel carousel, its Spanish Ballroom, its many public festivals.
The
site was first developed in 1891 as a National Chautauqua Assembly and then
operated as an amusement park until 1968.
Clarissa "Clara" Harlowe Barton was a pioneering
nurse who founded the American Red Cross. She worked as a hospital nurse in the
American Civil War, and as a teacher and patent clerk. Ms. Barton is noteworthy
for doing humanitarian work at a time when relatively few women worked outside
the home.
Ran
5 miles and figured out that I should have stretched before running as
preparing races in order to increase the speed. I forgot to turn back on
the tracking app after stopping to find my shirt which was tossed away
by a business complex clean staff by accident — checked in to Falls Church, Virginia.
Watched
inside a church a play "Jarry Inside Out" about the imaginary world of
the French writer famous for a play King Ubu. The play creates a
fictional and dreamy reality. "We can live in paradise if we can leave
the confines of the average, the prison of reality." — checked in to Spooky Action Theater.
