Watched Oscar-nominated "Big Short" movie set in the run-up to the 2008 financial crash, a mix of righteous condemnation of fraud and blackly comic romp. It did a good job on simplifying the causes of crash to be understood by the general public. Unfortunately, the financial industry continues to invent new instruments and schemes to fraud the public who naively believe the government can protect them. — checked in to Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse.
