I hiked 15 miles with 3800 ft elevation gain in this spring like 50f
winter day on Pass Mountain and Hull School Trails, Out-and Back. We
encountered one trail runner, two cyclists, and 6 backpackers. This was
the most heart warming hike for a creative surprise wedding reception
organized by hike leader Karan for two young hikers of the group who
have no relative close by and we feel like family members. I was on the
wedding cake team for piling up cup cakes on a glass holder, pouring
whip cream over the pile, and then putting a bride & groom statue on
the top. What a memorable day!
