I ushered at 1st Stage Tysons tonight for Swimming With Whales, an
interesting story (I haven't figured out some parts) and creative stage
design. As well put in a review article: "This is a gentle, and
ultimately hopeful, play considering that death permeates it. The pacing
seems to take its lead from the timelessness of sea and sand—it ebbs
and flows and pushes and pulls and sparks up and subsides." I like this
play.
