My group of 8 hiking friends took this Buck Ridge to Mary's Rock and back down Buck Hollow (9.4 miles/ 2600 ft elevation) regardless raining forecast for Saturday, yet the weather turned out to be cool and pleasant (70f) and we had after-hike picnic. BTW, we ran into the same AT section hiker I met on roller coaster last Saturday at Mary’s Rock. What a small world! I ran 10.6 miles on Sunday morning, to meet my 20 miles hike/run for this weekend.
