Super wet and slippery hike
This was the wettest hike I ever had, and I fell on my left knee when walking down White Oak Canyon trail while the rain gushing down. We finished this 13.9 miles 3500 feet elevation gain hike: Cedar Run/Hawksbill/White Oak Canyon in ~ 8 hrs. The uphills part took 3.5 hours due to some wet rocks and stream crossing. The downhills in pouring rain was very scary because the rocks were wet and very slippery while my eye glasses got too foggy to see trail well. We had a birthday party for Wanda at the end of hike, and I was very happy to see everyone finished the hike without injuries. I dragged my feet to run 6.1 miles on Sunday morning to make my weekend 20 hike/run mile target.
