I volunteered for Dreams For Kids DC (DFKDC) Prom 2022 @ Glen Echo Park today. The weather was sunny and cool, and it took us 1.5 hours to set up the food, chairs, tables, decorations, etc. The kids had good time with the photo booths (my task), balloon man, dancing, and interacting with three characters from Star Wars (professionals for hire). I have been working with this children’s charity for many years and involved in activities that empower children with physical and developmental disabilities. There was only one thing I didn't like, i.e., the stop & go traffic on Rt. 495 to Glen Echo Park like driving in a parking lot.
