Met at with the DC free by foot tour guide to enjoy the Lincoln
Assassination tour with my new friend Mayo met in Ending Homeless happy
hour. I took similar tip-based tours around the world at many cities,
and then finally did my 1st one in DC after living here for 15 years.
This tour revealed how the Vice President was spared while Lincoln and
Secretary of State were killed at the same night. The tour
started from the back of White House, Lafayette Square, Sight of
William Seward’s Home, Sight of Vice President Johnson’s Hotel, U.S.
Treasury Building, Willard Hotel, National Theater, and ended at Ford
Theater. BTW, do you know that the freedom plaza has the DC map on the
ground and Trump will turn the old postal office into a high end hotel? — checked in to President Andrew Jackson Memorial.
