Scouted
on my bike around my hilly neighborhood for a training route to prepare
for Reston Century on August 23. I got more hills here than on the W
& OD trail, I.e., more workout in the ~ 10 miles active recovery
ride than 20 miles on W & OD and I did not have to stop for lights.
Glad that I did not feel muscle sore from yesterday 22 miles hike like I
did with the 20 mile hike one week before
— checked in to Pimmit Hills, Virginia.
My community has changed a lot since I moved in in 2015. I revisited the court where I found my lost chocolate lap in 2001. Time flies!
