I attended Annual Leadership in Real Estate Lecture @ FUSE Conference Center of George Mason University Arlington campus. The Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship had Jon Peterson a legend of the industry to discuss his journey, the challenges he encountered, and the strategies that led to his success.
His father, Milton Peterson, was a partner of Mr. Til Hazel, my first law firm big boss, so I was invited to visit National Harbor before it was opened. Hazel/Peterson Companies built some of the largest residential developments in Fairfax County, including, among others, Burke Centre, Franklin Farm, Fairfax Station, and Fair Lakes. I was so swamped with work and missed the opportunity to learn more about Mr. Hazel and to learn from his real estate experience. Mr. Hazel passed away in 2022.
I have not visited Arlington Campus and Wiehle-Reston East Metro station for a while, and saw a lot of changes today.
