I wore Japanese yukata (summer kimono) to DC to see National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade. I had to watch a YouTube clip to put on the obi (belt). I bought the yukata years ago when I worked in Tokyo, and simply forgot about it until today. It was sunny and cool under the shade.
I then rushed to Reston for a real estate event. I opened the small pack through from the Dunkin’ Donuts float at the Parade and tasted the two chocolate donut holes covered with multicolored cherry blossoms candy flakes.
