I hiked with a group and Sierra the hiking dog to White Rocks
Cliff/Little Schloss in GW national forest 15.4 miles with 2660
elevation gain at 2.5-3 mph. The weather was cool, dry, and perfect for
hiking. My 1st car pool vehicle could not start, so I sit in the middle
backseat in the 2nd car pool until a meeting stop to jump on the 3rd
carpool. I have been hiking in the DC area for 16 years yet hiked these
two seldom offered hiked with spectacular views for the first time. A
wonderful hike plus Saturday 7.25 mile run made my good weekend. — checked in to George Washington National Forest.
