a whole day conference on "Forging the Asian Century" presenting many
hot issues in the region. The keynote speaker, the honorable Kevin Rudd
(former Australian prime minister and United Nation Secretary General
candidate) was wise, humorous, and well versed in Chinese. I grabbed him
